Trueheart Vineyard is located just off of 7th Street East in Sonoma and is surrounded by a number of eucalyptus and green trees offering a heavy terroir influence. In the heart of the Sonoma Valley, cool evening air and fog from the Pacific cool down this central area of Sonoma. Loamy soils and vineyards with vigorous pruning regimes and head trained vines promise great potential for quality wines.

The 2019 growing season was cool, resulting in lower brix at harvest offering truer fruit flavors, higher acid, herbaceous notes and a wine that is very food friendly. After the grapes were hand-picked, sorted and destemmed, they were cold soaked for three days prior to fermentation. Free run juice as a result of fermentation was transferred into 50% new Hungarian and American oak and barrel-aged for 18 months with minimal racking prior to bottling.
Enjoy this rich petite sirah with braised red meats or smoky barbecued pork ribs with grilled zucchini. This wine is the perfect complement to winter meals such as hearty beef stews and chuck roast.
